Help Wintergreen Real Estate
Build a Habitat House
|
Habitat is a joint venture, with those who benefit from the housing ministry involved at several levels. Habitat volunteers work side-by-side with habitat homeowners. This reduces the cost of the house, increases the pride of ownership, and fosters the development of positive relationships with others in the county.
Habitat houses still cost money, however, so there is an ongoing need for funding. |
Wintergreen Real Estate joined in partnership with Nelson County Habitat for Humanity to fund a Habitat Home for 2004 by donating a portion of every real estate listing and sale to insure that the project is an overwhelming success.
Wintergreen Real Estate’s agents: Betty Green, Bill Sampson, Cameron Carroll, Diane Harvey, Dick Carroll, Gary Horvath, Joe Kincaid, Kyle Lynn, Lisa Davidson, Peter Farley, Stan Powell, Tim Merrick and Tim Hess are unanimous in their support to participate in funding for the Habitat Home.
This $44,000 gift is the largest single contribution in the history of the affiliate, and was delivered in full earlier than originally committed.
We at Wintergreen Real Estate are excited about this important contribution to the community and hope that our example will encourage others to contribute to this worthy cause and become more involved in the Nelson County community. |
